How to fix water damaged wood parquet flooring?

Wood Parquet water damage is often caused by structural issues or excessive exposure to water spillage, commonly occurring near toilet entrances. This damage can result in warping, swelling, blackening and rotting of the floor. The repair process includes assessing the extent of the damage, drying the affected area, installing waterproof solutions, replacing damaged tiles, and refinishing the floor to restore its original condition.

The duration of wood parquet floor repair depends on the extent of the damage and the size of the affected area. Most minor repair work (12 sqft) requires a full day of work.
While it’s possible to perform repairs and polish on local areas only, we highly recommend polishing the entire room after repairs. Focusing on local areas can lead to noticeable color differences compared to the rest of the floor, which is often unsatisfactory for rental handovers.

Found mostly in old wood floor, hardwood and mosaic parquet floorings. Sometimes it does happens in new flooring due to uneven cement screen or insufficient glues used during new wood parquet installation. There are many reasons leading to Loose moving parquet tiles.
